2
Complete our "Kitten Application"
Adopting a Maine Coon from Trogers starts with completing our simple Kitten Application. This form gathers general information about you, without asking invasive personal questions.
-
We don’t ask whether you own or rent your home, or if you have allergies to cats.
-
We don’t inquire about other animals in your household, as we trust you understand your home environment and wouldn’t invest in a Maine Coon unless you were fully prepared to welcome a new family member.
At Trogers Maine Coons, we value and respect your privacy while ensuring our kittens find loving, responsible fur-ever homes.
3
Reserve Your Maine Coon Kitten
Reserving your kitten is easy!
-
Simply click the "Reserve" button associated with the kitten you selected in your application. We accept Zelle, Venmo, and Apple Pay.
-
Kittens cost between $2000 - $3000. All deposits are applied towards total cost of kitten.
-
Once your application is approved, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required to "Reserve" your kitten. We will update the website to indicate that your kitten is "LOVED" and no longer available for adoption.
-
Any balance on your kitten is due before the kitten leaves our cattery. The vet visit will be completed no earlier than a week prior to your scheduled pick up to ensure a healthy transition from our home to yours.
-
*All funds are non-refundable however can be transferred to a different litter.
At this point, it’s time to start planning the transportation for when your kitten is ready to go home. Depending on your location (i.e., local vs distance to travel), we allow kittens to leave the cattery at 12 weeks old, no exceptions! We’re happy to assist by recommending nanny transport companies we’ve worked with and trust.
You can also explore additional transportation options listed in our FAQs section. Let’s work together to ensure your new furry family member arrives safely and comfortably!

Adoption Agreement Reviewed, Signed, and Returned
All adoptions are completed with a Kitten Sales Agreement which clearly outlines the terms and conditions of the adoption. This agreement will be emailed to you after your deposit is receive. You are required to reviewed, sign, and return this agreement via email prior to your kitten leaving our cattery. *If you are local and picking up your kitten, you may hand deliver the agreement during pick up. This agreement is designed to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all our kittens while providing transparency and peace of mind for both parties.
***The final copy must be signed and executed before the kitten leaves our property.

Visitor Policy
For the health and safety of our kittens, we kindly ask for your understanding that we do not allow visitors to handle or choose small kittens in person. Kittens are not fully vaccinated until they are 12 weeks old, and outside visitors can unintentionally introduce viruses into our home, putting our vulnerable kittens at risk. This policy is non-negotiable, as the well-being of our kittens is our top priority.

To help you stay connected with your future companion, we offer video calls to show you the kittens and provide weekly updates so you can watch your kitten grow and thrive. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
